| I recently purchased a white 93 NA for my wife, its a high mileage car but unmolested and all there. All it needed was some serious TLC and a new EFI harness was part of that. I have replaced an EFI harness before and am familiar with what it requires..... Before the new harness the car started and would run........now it cranks and wont start Not fretting I referenced my trusted shop manual, starting on EF & EC 77 This took me to EF & EC 106. I have no spark. Following the flow chart in 106 I determine that I have no power into my ECU Here is where Im stuck. All tests in diagnostic procedure 2 (EF&EC107) are a pass EXCEPT step A...insted of 0.8-1.0v at pin 16 I have battery voltage. All other pin/ground/continuity tests are OK...... Next I assume that the factory alarm must be withholding ECU power. I follow the first three or four alarm tests and all are OK. Next (out of frustration) I just disconnect the alarm completely, and nothing changes still a crank and no start....no spark....no ECU power I hope that one of you experts out there can lend some assistance as I am becoming very frustrated.
